Six of the eight men convicted of child abuse offences in a Scottish paedophile ring have received jail sentences. The remaining two, one of whom was a gay rights campaigner, are to be sentenced at a later date for more serious crimes.


The recently crowned Miss California, Carrie Prejean, who caused outrage for expressing her anti gay marriage views, has been sacked for breaching her contract.


A chef who killed his gay lover and ate his flesh has failed in his attempt to get his jail sentence reduced. Anthony Francis Morley, of Leeds, was convicted of the murder of Damian Oldfield, 33, last October and given a minimum term of 30 years. He had denied murder on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
