GLBT News Headlines (T4T-6)

Late this afternoon, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld its temporary stay on the broadcast of the trial proceedings in Perry v. Schwarzenegger. In an opinion issued per curiam, with no single justice listed as author, the Court concluded that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit had not followed the proper procedures [...]
SCOTUSblog is reporting a 5-4 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to block broadcast of the trial challenging California’s proposition 8.  We’ll update this post when we have more information on their decision.
