International Gay News Headlines (T25T-3)

How many times have you thought to yourself, "Don't people date anymore?" or "How does anyone meet Mr Right in this city?" Well thanks to Speed Hump, you can have more dates in one night than most people have in a decade.
Jamie Frevele, a straight woman from New York, is auctioning off her right to marry on eBay, in support of those who don't have the privilege. She intends to donate the funds raised to a GLBT rights organisation.
When Jamaican reggae singer Beenie Man was removed from the Big Day Out line up recently he claimed that singing homophobic lyrics was a thing of the past. However, over the weekend he performed in Uganda, whipping up homophobia.

The first openly gay ambassador to New Zealand, the USA's David Huebner, has arrived in Wellington where he told his first press conference that he and his partner will not be getting legally united any time soon.
