
The parents of an 11-year-old boy who they say killed himself after being taunted with gay slurs at school are holding a candlelight vigil tonight to remember their son.
Jaheem Herrera's mother and stepfather describe the fifth-grader at Dunaire Elementary School as a cheerful boy who was looking forward to returning to his native home of St. Croix after school let out for summer break. He killed himself Thursday.

The Whitman-Walker Clinic is asking donors and supporters to contact their D.C. City Council member and tell them “enough is enough,” just days before a second Council hearing probing the Clinic's finances.
