GLBT News Headlines (T4T-6)

I don't know which one is worse -- the idiocy of homophobia or the duplicity of it. Oklahoman homophobes -- who are also, sadly, congressmen -- objected to gay Rev. Scott Jones invocation of openly gay representative Al McAffrey. And Sally Kern puts her conservative two cents in.

It’s all in the family when it comes to sharing duties, responsibilities and care for the new baby. Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s teenage daughter, Bristol Palin, says having a child is not “glamorous,” and she'd, "love to [be] an advocate to prevent teen pregnancy because it's not, like, a situation that you would want to strive for, I guess."

There just might be a sexy kiss between two of the ladies of Wisteria Lane, it was reavealed on Thursday. After the news hit that Nicolette Sheridan may be departing from the ABC series Desperate Housewives, Teri Hatcher's Susan Meyer and Eva Longoria's Gabrielle Solis may make up for lost time with a pseudo lesbian kiss.
Opening testimony began yesterday at Florida’s Polk County Courthouse in the murder trial of Joseph Bearden, one of two men charged with the robbery and death of Ryan Keith Skipper, a 25-year-old gay Florida man who was brutally killed in a 2007 murder that has rallied LGBT and community advocates to again call for justice in anti-LGBT hate crimes.  The second defendant, William David Brown [...]
