After attending the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, President Obama signed an executive order that expands the mandate of the White House Office on Faith-Based Initiative established by former President George W. Bush. The office will now be called the Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships and will be headed by 26-year-old Pentecostal minister, Joshua Dubois.
Olympic swimming titan Michael Phelps is still reeling from aftershocks resulting from the publication of a photo in which he was snapped taking a bong hit late last year. As of Thursday, the 14-time gold medal winner has been suspended from competition for three months by USA Swimming and stripped of his monthly allowance from the organization.
