GLBT News Headlines (T5T-6)

The L Word's Alice Pieszecki, played for six seasons on the breakout show by Leisha Hailey, lands in the joint in Showtime's spin-off. Melissa Leo - who played Rachel Shelley's Helena's ex-partner on the L Word- Roseanne's Laurie Metcalfe and X-Men and Nip / Tuck star Famke Janssen all appear in the pilot.
Newly single Katy Perry pays Mariah Carey a unique compliment, exclaiming "I heard that at one point she requested kittens and puppies backstage to cuddle with before every show. Well, she’s f**king smart!" Plus she'll be headlining the world's largest lesbian event, The Dinah, soon, and she won't be lonely there.
Stan Lee, famous for creating comic book legends like Spiderman and The X-Men, is bringing Thom Creed, a gay Superhero teen to Showtime.
