NORTHAMPTON - The 27th annual Northampton Pride March & Rally drew about 7,500 people yesterday on an overcast and cool day, but there still was plenty of enthusiasm.

Marchers made their way from Edmond J. Lampron Memorial Park to the Armory Street parking lot, where there was food, vendors and live music. Banners and signs were displayed by some marchers, including a handmade sign that read "Queers Against War(s)" and a banner that read "God Loves Us ALL" from the United Church of Christ.

In addition, some marchers chanted "Hey hey, ho ho, homophobia has got to go."
