2008 San Francisco International Film Festival
This 51st edition of the San Francisco International Film Festival (April 24 through May 8 at the Castro Theatre, Sundance Kabuki Cinemas, Landmark's Clay Theatre and Berkeley's Pacific Film Archive) overflows with special guests Errol Morris, Mike Leigh, Maria Bello, Robert Towne, J. Hoberman; and special events like Glass: A Portrait of Philip in 12 Parts, as Australian director Scott Hicks (Shine ) gives the experimental composer a 70th birthday tribute.
