Homphobic parents refuse to accept daughters stated sexuality

It was a sad day today when I read an article about a high school student in Massachusetts.

The homophobic parents gave permission for thier "special needs daughter" the act in the school play. Every parent had to provide written permission since the play is "The Laramie Project" which we all know is the story of Matthew Shepard.

These parents gave permission and then claim "homosexuals corrupted their daughter". It seems their daughter came home and told them she felt she was lesbian.

The parents not only removed her from the play but removed her from the school also. They claim she isn't capable of understanding what a lesbian is. That the homosexuals did this.

I sure hope they are right, otherwise their homophobia is rampant and will cause irrepairable damage to their daughter.
