CORUNNA - Seniors Jessica Kimble and Carol Barnett never backed down from what they believed in when the Corunna Board of Education ordered a Gay-Lesbian-Bisexual-Transgender Awareness Month poster removed from a display case at the high school.
The Utah support group Affirmation: Gay and Lesbian Mormons requested a meeting with Latter-day Saint Church President Thomas S. Monson in a February letter to the LDS church. The letter called for better relations and counseling for "members who are homosexual."
PFLAG, Morris County (Parents, Family and Friends of Gays and Lesbians), is a confidential, mutual support group to help parents, grandparents and friends adjust to a child’s gay or lesbian orientation.
